In hindsight, 2003 may have been a watershed year, according to some major finance and accounting outsourcing (FAO) suppliers. Cutting costs remained paramount. But, for the first time, companies increasingly used FAO as a tool to transform their organizations toward even higher levels of efficiency and productivity.
